Sometimes we like to dress up! The top picture is from a murder mystery dinner when we were dating, and the other two are from Halloween parties. Blair won Best Costume for his pirate!

Snow Tubing

One of our favorite winter traditions is going snow tubing with Heidi's family. We go to a place that pulls us up the hill on our tubes so we don't have to climb the mountain. We have brought our kids the last few years, and they love it too!

Fitness - Blair

Blair also loves to stay fit. His favorite activities usually involve running, including half marathons, Ragnars and Spartan races.

Fitness - Heidi

Heidi loves fitness! She has been teaching group fitness classes off and on for several years. She loves inspiring people to be stronger and fitter, and to never give up on their goals!

Christmas 2016

Better late than never - here are a few Christmas photos!

The neighboring town has an amazing Creche exhibit every year where they display nativity scenes from around the world.

This is after Anna's very first choir concert. We are so happy she loves to sing like her mom!

Nathan is getting big. We're not sure how many more years Dad will be able to lift him up like this!

Blair's Hidden Talent

Blair decorates cakes for special family events. It's always fun to see what he will come up with! 

This cake was for a nephew's birthday several years ago. The rope & boot are made of Rice Crispies treats.

This zombie cake was requested back when Plants vs Zombies was so popular.

Nathan is a huge Star Wars fan!

He has also loved Super Mario Brothers...

...and is more recently into the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles.

This Mine Craft cake was almost as big as the birthday boy!

This was for Heidi's birthday one year.

Heidi's dad loves hiking, so Blair made this cake was for his birthday.  The lake and stream are made out of Jell-O!

Heidi's Singing

Heidi has an amazing voice and a love for singing. This collage shows a talent show double trio she was part of, The Music Man lead role she played in high school, and one of her many choir pictures from college. She was accepted multiple times into the state high school choir, and into an elite university vocal program.  Heidi sings at church and loves teaching the primary children music every Sunday.

Sledding Fun

With all the snow and no school last Monday, the kids went sledding.  So fun!

Our Florida Trip

Blair's brother lives in Florida, so we spent a few days there over the Christmas break.

We HAD to go to the beach!

Blair's brother lives and works on a huge cattle ranch. There was no shortage of fun things to do!

The ranch has a spring-fed swimming hole with slides, docks, high dives and Tarzan ropes. We were glad there was a fence to keep the gators out!

Tough Mudder

We love to be active, whether it's working out at the gym, playing sports, or running races. We did the Tough Mudder a few years ago, and it is something we will never forget! (in both good and bad ways!!)
